Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity - Brain Tumor Research

The Becher Laboratory is seeking a qualified individual for a newly available postdoctoral position at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Their lab focuses on brain tumor research using genetic mouse models with a focus on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an incurable type of brain cancer that arises in the brainstem of children. Applicants must have a recent MD and/or PhD degree in immunology, cell biology, neuroscience and/or anatomy.

The postdoctoral fellow will work closely with Joshua Meeks, MD, PhD in the Department of Urology and Stephen Miller, PhD in the department of Microbiology and Immunology. Candidates are required to have US citizenship or permanent residence and a PhD or MD in Molecular biology, or Immunology and/or comparable experience in these subjects.
