Active Learning in STEM Online Course and Learning Community - Begins Week of February 5

Modified: January 29, 2018

Learn how to engage students with active learning through the CIRTL MOOC, “Advancing Learning Through Evidence-Based STEM Teaching.” Topics include peer instruction, problem-based learning, inquiry-based labs, and flipped classrooms.

Connect with Northwestern MOOC participants through a MOOC-Centered Learning Community (MCLC) to enhance your learning experience and keep yourself on track with course material.

Register now for both the MOOC and the MCLC.  The MOOC begins February 5 and the MCLC meets on Fridays from 12-1 PM beginning February 9.

Check out the CIRTL at Northwestern website to learn more about both of these opportunities, and please direct any questions to Lauren Woods (Postdoctoral Fellow, Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching).
