Teresa Woodruff named Dean of The Graduate School

Teresa K. Woodruff, the Thomas J. Watkins Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Director of the Women's Health Research Institute at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, has been named the Dean of The Graduate School and Associate Provost for Graduate Education, effective September 1. The Dean of The Graduate School and Associate Provost for Graduate Education is charged with overseeing all issues relevant to graduate education. They serve as an advocate for the graduate and postdoctoral populations at Northwestern, and engage with students, staff, faculty, and alumni on initiatives that broaden the impact of Northwestern's research around the globe. The Dean also works to ensure the graduate student experience is of the highest quality, and that students receive access to resources that help them succeed in their academic careers and professional development endeavors.
