Northwestern BGSA announces 20th Annual Graduate Research Conference

Northwestern’s Black Graduate Student Association is pleased to announce its 20th Annual Graduate Research Conference that will be held on April 15th, 2017 at the Conference Chicago at the University Center in downtown Chicago.

This year’s conference theme is Stand Together: A Summit to Unify Diversity in Higher Education. They aim to showcase the variety and diversity among graduate students of color, especially in their research and everyday lives. Moreover, they desire to demonstrate that diverse backgrounds and experiences allow for a more complete, well-rounded journey in higher education and training the leaders of tomorrow.

For 20 years, BGSA has been inviting students from across the Midwest and virtually all disciplines/fields to participate. They invite graduate students across the Midwest to submit abstracts and present their work.

The conference is open to all disciplines and backgrounds. The abstract submission deadline is February 24th 2017.
