Mentoring Your Summer Student: An Orientation for Postdocs and PhD Students

Modified: March 20, 2017

This workshop will help postdoctoral fellows and graduate students outline summer projects, set goals with summer advisees, structure interactions, and problem solve as issues arise. The session will also help mentors of summer undergraduate students to develop a "personal style" for mentoring, recognize strengths, and develop a network with other summer mentors.

There will be sessions on both campuses:

Tuesday, May 23; 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
TGS Commons (2122 Sheridan Road, Room 140), Evanston campus
RSVP for the Evanston Campus

Wednesday, May 31; 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Gray Seminar Room, Lurie Research Building (303 E Superior St), Chicago Campus
RSVP for the Chicago Campus

Please register by May 16 for either session. Lunch will be provided! Contact Angela Ripp or Kristen Mighty with any questions.
