IBiS Career Day

Considering a career outside of academia, but don't know where to start? Looking for help identifying and selling your skills to potential employers?

ISO is hosting the IBiS Career Day focused on careers outside of academia on May 23rd (More information to follow). In preparation for this event, they are hosting a workshop on May 19th aimed at developing networking skills that you can use to make connections useful for marketing yourself in a variety of career paths. The workshop will be led by Elysse Longiotti from Northwestern Career Advancement. She will be discussing making and obtaining connections outside of academia, and practicing your elevator pitches and how to use these skills to research potential career paths.  This is a great opportunity for graduate students and post-docs at any stage of career planning. 

When: May 19th 12:00- 1:30P.M.
