Fellowship Proposal Writing Workshop for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Modified: May 8, 2017

The Graduate School offers a series of fellowship proposal writing workshops in alignment with specific deadlines and led by writing experts. The goal is to help students and postdoctoral fellows produce the strongest possible writing for proposals, understand what reviewers are looking for, edit writing to be clear, concise, interesting, and persuasive, and increase the likelihood of securing funding. This is a writing workshop and participants must be prepared to bring drafts of their NIH NRSA grant proposals to each session for peer and instructor review.

The workshop will meet on the Chicago campus, TGS Conference Room in Abbott Hall 332, on all of the following dates from 5:00-6:30 PM each day:  June 29, July 6, July 12, and July 17.

Registration is required and space is limited.  Please register here and have your advisor/supervisor send a very brief email of support (1-2 sentences will suffice) to mearah@northwestern.edu no later than June 15, 2017.
