Computational-Research-Skill-Building Opportunity for Life Sciences PhD Students and Postdocs

Modified: November 21, 2017

The myDATA program, which provides training in computational methods for life sciences PhD students and postdocs, is offering a 20-week mentored research project during which trainees will work to complete a relevant, self-designed computational research project. During this 20-week program, students will be provided with one-on-one mentorship and expertise from the Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT) and the Biostatistics Collaboration Center (BCC). This mentored research opportunity will support PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to build computational skills that will both enhance their research and make them competitive in a wide range of career fields.

Students and postdoctoral fellows who are interested in participating must submit a 1-page proposal by December 15. More details and instructions on how to complete the application are attached. If you have any questions, please email Jasmine Lucas jasminelucas2014@u.northwestern.edu.
