On April 7, Northwestern University was inducted as a new institutional chapter of the Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. This society is named for the first African American doctoral student in the United States, Edward Alexander Bouchet.

Announcement on the Revised Executive Order Concerning Immigration from Philip Harris

Today, President Trump issued a new executive order on immigration. The revised order states that individuals who have valid visas from the affected countries – Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria and Libya – are no longer prohibited from entering the country.
