Career Development Event at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Annual Meeting

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Annual Meeting will be held in Chicago from April 22-26, 2017.  In addition to an exceptional scientific program that exposes students to cutting edge research, Saturday April 22 will feature a full day devoted to career development events.  This includes exploring potential career paths, networking with people inside and outside academia, and developing professional skills. Individuals interested in attending can use this link to view the program and register.

Networking reception  
Friday, April 21

Graduate Student and Postdoc Career-Development Event  
Saturday, April 22
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 
*Advance registration is required, which can be done during the EB meeting registration process

PLEASE NOTE: This entire event is required for recipients of all ASBMB graduate and postdoctoral travel awardees. Other grad students and postdocs must pre-register for this event during the standard EB registration process. Registration on-site may be offered but will depend on space availability. We recommend you complete the "Assessment" and "Consider Career Fit" portions of the my IDP program before attending these sessions. While we will not collect this information, completing it will allow you to fully engage in the session and get the most out of attending.
