CAPS Presents: Coping with the Current Political Climate

Modified: February 1, 2017

Many in our Northwestern community have been impacted by current political climate including recent immigration executive orders.
At CAPS, they remain committed to affirming value, inclusivity, and belonging of all students.

Our center provides a safe space for dealing with the impact of these policy changes. They encourage you to reach out to them if you are struggling with finding effective ways to manage personal impact of the current political climate. CAPS staff can also offer support if you are experiencing negative treatment, threats or more subtle forms of oppression because of your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious affiliation or other aspects of your identity. They can be reached by phone (847) 491-2151, walk-in between 8:30am-5:00pm M-F or during Let's Talk sessions on Evanston and Chicago campus. Support is also available by contacting the Campus Inclusion and Community: Bias Incident Response Team (847) 467-3485
