TGS's Admissions and Recruitment System Demos and Trainings

We are pleased to inform you that, ahead of the launch of TGS’s Admission and Recruitment system (CollegeNET), our new application and review platform, on September 6, we will host the following open houses and training dates, listed below.

All open houses and trainings will be held at 2122 Sheridan Road in room 260.
 
Open houses are intended for you to interact with TGS’s Admission and Recruitment System and view a demo of the system before trainings begin. They will be held on:
 
Thursday, July 21
1-3 PM for Program Staff/DGS/Admission Officers/Administrators
3-5 PM for Faculty (who will use the system to review applications)
 
Tuesday, July 26
1-3 PM for Program Staff/DGS/Admission Officers/Administrators
3-5 PM for Faculty (who will use the system to review applications)
 
Wednesday, August 3, 1-3 PM all audiences
 
You do not need to register to attend an open house.
 
Hands-on training sessions will help you learn to use TGS’s Admission and Recruitment System, and manage applications in the system. They will be held:
 
Monday, August 29, 1-2:30 PM
Friday, September 9, 10-11:30 AM
Friday, September 9, 1-2:30 PM
Thursday, September 15, 3-4:30 PM
Monday, September 19, 1-2:30 PM
Monday, September 26, 1-2:30 PM

One Chicago campus training session will be held in Tarry, Room 1-731

Friday, September 16 at 10 AM 
 
You must register to attend a training session. Do so by using the following instructions:

  1. Access Human Resources/FASIS Self Service at:https://nupa.northwestern.edu
  2. If you get a popup asking, “Do you want to display the non-secure items?” respond “yes.”
  3. Sign in with your NetID and password.
  4. Click Workplace Learning
  5. Click Request Training Enrollment
  6. Click Search by Course Name, Course Number, or Date.  (Course Number is TGS101; course is called TGS101 CollegeNET for the Administrator)
  7. Click Search
  8. Click View Available Sessions next to the class you want to enroll in
  9. Click the Session link next to the session you would like to enroll in
  10. Follow the prompts to complete registration
  11. You will receive an email from FASIS confirming your registration request with the subject line "Request Submitted."
