Skills & Careers in Science Writing accepting applications

Science in Society, Medill, and The Graduate School are offering their science writing course for spring quarter. 

This free evening course is designed to help PhD trainees write clearly and speak confidently about their own research, providing a solid foundation for future pursuits in science writing and communication. Students will learn a variety of techniques and best practices in science writing, and practice their new found skills in authentic writing and editing assignments. Guest editors and professional writers will provide practical insights into science writing careers and professional opportunities.

Applications from any Northwestern PhD STEM+ students are welcome (including communication disorders, anthropology, psychology, etc.). Apply todayApplications close Monday, February 22. A short essay on your research must be submitted with the online application.
