Mentored Discussions of Teaching
STEM and SBE (social, behavioral sciences, and economics) postdocs are invited to participate in the Mentored Discussions of Teaching program offered through CIRTL at Northwestern. This is a one-quarter program designed to generate discussions about teaching.  Participants will observe faculty teaching undergraduate or early graduate courses and meet with faculty to discuss their perspectives and methods. The program requires three group meetings – one to introduce the program, one to discuss literature about teaching and learning, and one to hear everyone’s perspectives on the observations.  The time commitment is limited to facilitate participation. This is a great opportunity to learn more about teaching.
