Registration open now for Sustaining Digital Resources: The Business Model Bootcamp for Digital Project Leaders

Modified: March 9, 2016

This 3-day intensive workshop, which past participants have described as a “mini-MBA where the topic is your project,” takes participants through the steps to developing a strong business case for their initiative.  Sessions focus on identifying goals, defining the value of the project in light of its intended audience, understanding the motivations of your intended audience, exploring the external environment in which the project operates, developing a budget, and identifying the most likely funding sources.

The program is intended for anyone responsible for leading an innovative product or service. Past participants have included PIs from libraries, museums, archives and historical societies, faculty PIs of grant-funded software or content-based initiatives in all disciplines, and publishing professionals. The program is structured to be useful for those either formulating a plan for an upcoming grant, or at the point where having a well-considered strategy for further support is necessary.

The deadline for applications is June 17. Special “Early Bird” rates are available to those who apply by Friday, April 21.  Teams are strongly encouraged to apply.  View more information and to submit an application.
