NSDS Workshop on Musicality in Dancing

Northwestern Swing Dance Syndicate invites you to join them for a workshop on dancing blues to slow jazz and musicality in dancing. The event is open to the public, and prior experience with any american vernacular dance (swing, blues, balboa, waltz, foxtrot, tango, etc.) is necessary. It will take place on February 28 from 1:00-5:00pm in Parkes Hall Ballroom (Room 122). 

The format is as follows:

Course One
Dancing to slow jazz
Guided Practice

Course Two
Traveling turns in blues dancing
Guided Practice

Course Three
“Trick-Or-Dips”
Open Dance

Pricing:
NUstudent/non-student:
$7/$10 per class
$15/$25 workshop
