NRMN-CAN Facilitating Mentor Training Workshop

The National Research Mentoring Network Committee on Institutional Cooperation Academic Network (NRMN-CAN), of which Northwestern University is a participant, is hosting a Facilitating Mentor Training Workshop on March 7-8, 2016 at the Big Ten Center in Rosemont, IL. Participants will learn about evidence-based approaches to mentor training and gain the knowledge, confidence, and facilitation skills needed to develop implementation plans. All participants will be asked to host Mentor Training workshops in their home department and/or home campus in the next year. Registration and travel expenses are provided by NRMN-CAN. Space is limited, please register as soon as possible. If you are interested, please see the invitation and registration instructions

Please register by completing the following steps:

Step 1: Create a profile on the NRMN website. 

  • When you begin, you'll be prompted to identify yourself as either a "mentor" or a "mentee." Please select “mentor.”
  • When asked “from which organization/program did you learn about NRMN?”, please select “other" from the drop-down menu and type in "NRMN-CAN" in the box that appears.
  • When asked if you would like to register for Virtual Mentoring, you may wish to select “not now.” If you are interested in participating in this program, please note that it will require you to answer additional questions. You may prefer to log in at a later date to complete this step.
