Northwestern Computational Research Day

The annual Northwestern Computational Research Day is being held on April 19, 2016 from 8:30am-5:00pm at Norris University Center. This event is hosted by Northwestern Information Technology (IT) and sponsored in conjunction with Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, Kellogg School of Management, Feinberg School of Medicine, Office for Research, Kellogg School of Management, and Northwestern University Library. Corporate sponsors include, Lenovo and NVIDIA.

This all-day, campus-wide event is designed to showcase computational research at Northwestern, as well as strengthen the computational research community at Northwestern. Highlights of the day will include presentations from Northwestern researchers, guest speakers, the Visualization Challenge sponsored by NVIDIA and a poster session sponsored by CIERA (Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics) and NICO (Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems).

Postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students are eligible to present at the poster session, sponsored by CIERA (Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics) and NICO (Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems). Poster Session requirements and submission deadlines.

During lunch time, Northwestern IT and Northwestern University Library will available for to answer questions you may have about your computational research. Stop by one of the consultation booths located in the Louis Room to chat with a specialist!
