FY18 National Sea Grant College Program Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

NOAA is soliciting applications for the 2018 Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship Program.  The fellowship provides a unique educational and professional experience to graduate students who have an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources.

The fellowship matches highly qualified graduate students with "hosts" in the legislative and executive branch of government for a one-year paid fellowship. The fellowship will take place in the National Capital region, so applicants must be able to reside in the Washington, DC area.

Eligibility:

An eligible applicant is any student, regardless of citizenship, who, on February 10, 2017, is enrolled towards a degree in a graduate program, that have an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. The graduate degree needs to be awarded through a United States accredited institution of higher education in the United States or U.S. Territories.

DEADLINE: February 10, 2017 by 5:00 p.m. local time
