Systems Biology and Network Medicine Postdoc Opening at Brigham and Women's Hospital

Modified: March 12, 2015

The Channing Division of Network Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on an interdisciplinary project that involves developing approaches to construct and analyze networks with translational applications in biology and medicine. The work will be primarily supervised by Dr. Kimberly Glass, but will also include interacting with a highly interdisciplinary team of researchers from both the Channing and elsewhere in the Longwood Medical Area. The successful applicant will be highly-motivated, have good communication, writing and programming skills (Matlab/R/C++), and hold a PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or a related field. Previous research experience in network methods and a strong interest in medical translation from network analysis are strongly desired. Experience in genomic data analysis is also highly preferred but not required. Interested candidates should send a copy of their CV and research statement to kimberly.glass@channing.harvard.edu.
