Modified: April 29, 2015

Workshop Dates: May 7, 14, 21, 28 from 5:15-6:15 pm

SPG Improv is the only improvisational theatre group in The Graduate School (TGS). SPG Improv is dedicated to learning, teaching, and performing improv in the Northwestern and broader Chicago communities. Their members have guided workshops for graduate students from varying disciplines, such as mathematics, material science, chemistry, applied physics, music, theater, and anthropology.

SPG Improv holds weekly improvisation workshops on Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 pm in Seabury Hall. At these workshops, their troupe guides students through the principles of theatrical improvisation through a variety of games and scene work. This month, SPG will be hosting its annual Fancy Show on May 8 at 7 pm. Fancy Show features the NuTones, fancy food and drink, and great entertainment for the evening.
