SPG Improv March Workshops

Modified: February 27, 2015

Workshop Dates: March 5, 12, 26 from 5:15-6:15 pm

SPG Improv is the only improvisational theatre group in The Graduate School (TGS). SPG Improv is dedicated to learning, teaching, and performing improv in the Northwestern and broader Chicago communities. Their members have guided workshops for graduate students from varying disciplines, such as mathematics, material science, chemistry, applied physics, music, theater, and anthropology.

SPG Improv holds weekly improvisation workshops on Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 pm in Seabury Hall. At these workshops, their troupe guides students through the principles of theatrical improvisation through a variety of games and scene work. Their troupe also puts on a monthly “Third Thursday” Show at 6pm in Seabury's Great Room, where SPG provides entertainment and food.
