Philosophy Workshop Open to All Women in Philosophy

Modified: September 21, 2015

In order to contribute to the creation of a thriving and supportive intellectual community for women in the profession, the Graduate School and the Philosophy Department at Northwestern University are sponsoring a work-in-progress workshop for all women philosophers (graduate and faculty) in the Chicagoland area. The purpose of this workshop would be to provide an opportunity for women philosophers to present their work-in-progress and receive constructive feedback in an informal and collaborative environment. Participants can present on any topic in philosophy. Any and all graduate or faculty women are encouraged to participate, regardless of whether they anticipate in presenting their own work for discussion.

The event is co-sponsored with the Practical Philosophy Workshop (open to all faculty and graduate students), featuring Professor Jennifer Frey of the University of South Carolina on October 19th, 1pm-3pm.
