New Science Writing Course for Fall 2015

Science in Society, Medill and The Graduate School are offering a free skills development course this fall.

The evening seminar runs for 9-weeks (9/21/15-11/16/15). It is designed to help STEM+ PhD trainees write clearly and speak confidently about their own research, providing a solid foundation for future pursuits in science writing and communication.

Students will learn a variety of techniques and best practices in both technical and popular science writing and practice their new found skills in authentic writing and editing assignments. Each week will also include a guest editor or professional writer, providing practical insights into science writing careers and professional opportunities.

Science in Society welcomes applications from any PhD-track STEM+ graduate students-apply today!
