GEO Community Practicum - Apply now for Spring Quarter!

Are you a graduate student interested in connecting with community organizations and gaining experience with engaged scholarship? Apply for the Graduate Engagement Opportunities (GEO) Community Practicum! GEO combines a credit-bearing seminar with a quarter-long internship in the overlapping areas of civic engagement, social justice, or community studies.Whether you plan to pursue an academic or non-academic career, GEO can help you connect with the community and help you fine-tune your professional skills. The program has proven to be an extremely valuable experience for participants in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM fields.

TGS-funded students can use one quarter of fellowship funding to participate in this program. In some cases, participation may replace teaching and/or research assistantship duties. For full consideration, apply by Wednesday, November 25th.
