Fellowship Proposal Writing Workshop for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

The Graduate School will offer this five-day proposal writing workshops for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.  Workshops will focus primarily on those preparing a proposal for the upcoming NIH NRSA deadline, though other grant writers are welcome.

The Graduate School offers a series of fellowship proposal writing workshops in alignment with specific deadlines and led by writing experts. The goal is to help students and postdoctoral fellows produce the strongest possible writing for proposals, understand what reviewers are looking for, edit writing to be clear, concise, interesting, and persuasive, and increase the likelihood of securing funding. This is a writing workshop and participants must be prepared to bring drafts of their grant proposals to each session for peer and instructor review.

Evanston Campus Workshop: The workshop will meet on all of the following dates from 3:30-5:00 PM each day:  Feb 3; Feb 10; Feb 17; Feb 24; and Mar 3.  Register for the Evanston campus workshop at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TGZ6BHX

Chicago Campus Workshop: The workshop will meet on all of the following dates from 5:00-6:30 PM each day:  Jan 27; Feb 3; Feb 17; Mar 3; Mar 10. Register for the Chicago workshop at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5ZKVKXH 

Registration is required and space is limited.  Please register and have your advisor/supervisor send a very brief email of support (1-2 sentences will suffice) to k-veraldi@northwestern.edu no later than January 26.
