Faculty Fellows Program to Diversity the Professoriate

Modified: October 26, 2015

The Faculty Fellows Program to Diversify the Professoriate is a collaborative effort of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) and the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. This program places 30 new and/or recent PhD and terminal Master’s degree recipients from CIC institutions in the humanities, humanistic social sciences, and the arts into tenure-track positions at ACM member colleges over a period of 5-6 years.

Faculty Fellows will be hired into a tenure-track position at an ACM college, and will have a reduced teaching load for the first year and second year of their tenure track (or an extended fourth-year leave, at the discretion of the college). Successful candidates will also receive other support, including campus-based mentoring with consortial workshops to provide the Fellows a rich introduction to teaching, scholarship, and professional development at residential liberal arts colleges.

To register your interest in being considered for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at one of the 14 liberal arts colleges of the ACM, please follow this link. Please note that you will still need to officially apply for the position of interest at the ACM campus, so check the availability postings.
