Call for Applications for Heidelberg Laureate Forum

The National Science Foundation (NSF) and Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) are pleased to announce that they will sponsor a maximum of 20 young researchers to attend the 3rd annual Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) in Heidelberg, Germany, from August 23 through 28, 2015. During the HLF week, young researchers will be given the exclusive possibility to profoundly connect with their scientific role models and find out how they made it to the top of their fields. The Forum format consists of formal lectures in the morning, and the remainder of the day is set aside for the young researchers to meet informally with the Laureate scientists, as well as with their peers from around the world.

Discipline-specific criteria for applying:

  • Graduate PhD: working towards a PhD in Mathematics or Computer Science
  • PostDoc: earned a PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics (or a closely related field) during the past 5 years
