Future of Research Chicago Symposium

Modified: September 28, 2015

Junior scientists are major contributors to the scientific and medical innovations that fuel modern economic growth and quality of life improvements. Yet, their future is now being permanently jeopardized by the lack of funding, improper training, and unsustainable workforce growth. FOR Chicago is a group of Chicago area postdoctoral students looking to ensure that scientific research remains a viable and valuable part of the economy and society today.

On October, 29th, FOR Chicago is hosting the Future of Research Chicago Symposium. Keynote speakers include: Dr. Gregory Petsko of Weill Cornell Medical College and Dr. Keith Yamamoto of the University of California, San Francisco.

For more details on the event including registration, location, and the mission of FOR Chicago, visit their website. For any other questions, send an email to FOR Chicago.
