19th Annual Graduate Research Conference

Northwestern’s Black Graduate Student Association will host the 19th Annual Graduate Research Conference on  April 23, 2016 at the Loyola University Water Tower Campus in downtown Chicago. 

The theme of this year’s conference is A Day in the Life of Us. Graduate students from all disciplines across the Midwest are strongly encouraged to present their research. Awards will be given for the best overall presentation. Travel grants of up to $100 will be available for students traveling more than 180 miles.

Conference highlights include a keynote address by Nichole Pinkard of DePaul University, a pre-conference networking event with Northwestern faculty, a networking lunch with Chicagoland professionals, and professional development workshops. 
Registration fees are as follows: $10 until January 31, $20 until March 21, and $30 until the April 12 registration deadline. To register, visit the conference page.

Abstracts should be submitted in a format appropriate to your field and should be no longer than 250 words. The deadline is March 11, 2016. Use this form to submit abstracts.
