Submit an Abstract for the 36th Annual Minority Health Conference

Modified: November 14, 2014

The Minority Student Caucus at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health invites you to submit an abstract for the 36th annual Minority Health Conference.

This year's conference theme is "Reaching for the American Dream: Economic Mobility and Minority Health." They welcome abstracts that describe traditional research or community-based practice (or a combination of the two). This is an interdisciplinary conference, and they encourage submissions from researchers and practitioners, community members, community organizations, and students from a variety of fields (including behavioral science, basic and clinical sciences, public health, policy/government, and others). Given this year's conference theme, they encourage abstracts that highlight the role of socioeconomic factors on minority health. Special consideration will be given to abstracts evaluating the impact of the recession on minority communities.

Please refer to the document provided here for more information and a template for abstract submission. Please return the completed form via email. If you prefer to submit an abstract electronically, please complete this online form.

All submissions must be received by November 21, 2014.

Visit their website to read more information and register for the conference.
