Norris Mini Courses

Modified: September 11, 2014

In 2013-14, almost a third of all Norris Mini Course students were graduate students! The Norris Mini Course program offers a wide variety of non-credit, recreational, classes for adults each quarter, beginning in October, January, April and July. The program offers over 30 recreational courses in everything from art and dance to language and digital canvas.

Mini Courses offer intense individual attention while operating in a relaxed, informal environment. Registration is open to the Northwestern community and the public. Most classes take place once a week in the evening and span for six to eight weeks, in an attempt to provide an escape from the daily academic or work routine. These classes are a fantastic way to unwind, make new friends and learn something new — all at the same time.
