Applications now available for the Spring 2015 Graduate Engagement Opportunities community practicum!

Modified: November 7, 2014

Graduate Engagement Opportunities (GEO) is a quarter-long program that combines a personalized community practicum with a graduate seminar on engaged scholarship.

Earn course credit while you:

  • Develop or apply your research at a civic, cultural, or non-profit organization
  • Gain skills for academic and non-academic jobs
  • Explore civic engagement in an interdisciplinary seminar

To learn more, and to apply, please visit the GEO website. Deadline is Monday, November 24th for full consideration. Applications are considered on a rolling basis; late applications will be considered if space permits. TGS Ph.D. students may use one quarter of fellowship funding to participate in this program. In some cases, participation may replace teaching and/or research assistantship duties. TGS is a proud sponsor of this program.
